Abstract

Issues relating to the assessment of people with a learning disability who commit sexual offences are presented. The particular difficulties in working with this client group are highlighted. A core structure for assessment of an individual is provided consisting of background, functional analysis, personal history, knowledge, skills, arousal, cognition's and mental state.
