Abstract
- A group of 2684 women, selected as being at higher than average risk of breast cancer, has been screened by clinical examination, thermography, and mammography. The pickup rate for preclinical breast cancer is 19.3 per 1000. False positive and false negative rates are discussed. Cancer 33:1671–1679, 1974.
