Analysis of the Reflected Wave Arrival Position in Timber Specimens Emitted by GPR with an Antenna of 1.6 ghz

This work was focused on the establishment of the best criterion to perform the readings of the amplitudes of the waves emitted by ground-penetrating radar, when timber specimens were inspected with an antenna of 1.6 GHz. This is a critical parameter when we are dealing with near-field readings, since no unique definition of this point has reached an agreement in the literature.
