Abstract

Learning Objectives: The reader is presumed to have a broad understanding of plastic surgical procedures and concepts. After studying this article, the participant should be able to: 1. Describe the anatomy of the malar fat pad and the changes it undergoes with the aging process. 2. Comprehend the author’s technique of lifting the malar fat pad to treat the prominent nasolabial fold.
