Abstract
- Scores on the Body Elimination Attitude Scale were related to the academic major and vocational interest of college students (N = 105). Students with business-oriented majors expressed more body elimination disgust than those with human-services-oriented majors. On the Thurstone Interest Inventory, the Business scale was associated positively with disgust, and the Humanitarian and Linguistic scales were associated negatively with this aversion. Theoretical and potential practical implications are discussed.
