Application of MUSIC for imaging extended dielectric inhomogeneities embedded in a inhomogeneous medium

Abstract
- In this contribution, we apply MUltiple SIgnal Classification (MUSIC) algorithm to the imaging of extended dielectric inhomogeneities that are completely embedded in an inhomogeneous medium with a smooth boundary. This application is based on the so-called physical factorization of the collected Multi-Static Response (MSR) matrix. Various numerical experiments are presented to demonstrate the pros and cons of the considered technique.
