Abstract
- The magnetic field effects on DNA electrophoresis have been investigated under the gradient and the homogeneous magnetic fields. The electrophoretic distance of the DNA is different between them. The increase and decrease in the electrophoretic velocity are discovered in the gradient magnetic fields. The acceralation and decceralation of DNA are observed in the negative and positive gradients of the magnetic fields, respectively. The results are discussed with the magnetic force and a new separation method of DNAs is suggested.
