Abstract
- This report experimentally demonstrates self-starting ultra-low repetition rate 4.5 kHz) mode-locked fiber laser in 1550 nm region. The combination of nonlinear polarization rotation (NPR) and nonlinear amplifying loop mirror (NALM) in the figure of eight configuration setup leads to achieve a stable self-starting mode-locked laser.
