Abstract

Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TPP) is a microvascular occlusive disorder with diverse symptoms including microangiopathic hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia, neurological and nephrological symptoms , as well as the occurrence of fever. Non-diagnosed and non-treated, the disease is in over 90% of cases with fatal outcome. This is an unusual case TPP patient who was being treated for diabetes mellitus type II and hypothyroidism.
