Abstract

We have measured the branching fraction of tau/sup -/..-->..rho/sup -/..nu../sub tau/ to be (22.3 +- 0.6 +- 1.4)% and the branching fraction of tau/sup -/..-->..K/sup asterisk-/..nu../sub tau/ to be (1.3 +- 0.3 +- 0.3)%. These values are consistent with the expectations for conventional decays of the tau.
