Abstract

This paper focuses on the problem of target imaging detection in low light environment at night, designed the driving circuit of sensor Based on Gsense400 chip and Virtex-5 of Xilinx FPGA chip, which can replace the traditional image intensifier when the illumination is under 10-3 lux, including power interface, clock configuration, SPI interface, timing relationship, LVDS to CameraLink interface. The data processing speed of the sensor is 2.4gb/s, readout noise is 1.6e-, image resolution is 2048x2048, frame rate is 24fps. The optical system is designed based on double Gauss by using ZEMAX, which is composed of nine lenses. The field range is 12°x 12°, F-Number is 1, the system distortion is less than 0.2%, the MTF in the central 50% field is more than 0.4 , the TOTR length is 112mm, which realized the system requirements in miniaturization, starlight level image, high dynamicperformance ,day and night availability.
