Abstract

Electromagnetic radiation of Xijiang traction substation is studied by metrical, analyses and scientific research, and field strength of power frequency, radio interference and distance attenuation characteristic are acquired in this paper. By scanning frequency in peak detection mode, electrical field and magnetic field strength covering band of 9kHz to 1GHz are obtained, moreover, Quasi-peak measurements at specific frequency points within frequency range are also carried out. In order to reduce influence of high voltage transmission line, a novel “Along Diagonal Extension Line” scheme is proposed and applied in measurement. Measurement results show that field strength around traction substation is less than the emission limit of traction substation, and field strength attenuates with distance increased. Strength of power frequency field is far less than limit of national regulation, in accordance with human's health standard.
