Abstract: Synthesis of 1-hydroxy[5.3.1.02,6]undecadienones 15–18 from annulated bicyclo[2.2.2]octenones 10–14 via carbocationic rearrangement has been described and a new route to cis:syn:cis tricyclopentanoids 25, 26 from 15, 18 reported.
