Abstract
- The nano garnet particle is dispersed into SN500 grade lubricating oil through Digital probe sonicator for formulating garnet nanofluids. The temperature and particle concentration dependent density and heat dissipation rate are experimentally investigated. The results show that the density of base fluid increases with the addition of nanoparticles. Also, the homogeneous dispersion of garnet nanoparticles into the base fluid has the considerable effect on the nanoparticle concentration and temperature dependent thermal energy dissipation capability.
