Antibiotics, Antimicrobial Resistance, Antibiotic Susceptibility Testing, and Therapeutic Drug Monitoring for Selected Drugs

This chapter will discuss common antibiotics in treating infection including susceptibility testing which is conducted prior to selecting a proper antibiotic. In this chapter, pharmacology of life saving antibiotics such as vancomycin and aminoglycosides will also be discussed.
