A simple permittivity of the wall estimation technique by the UWB radar system

Abstract: This paper describes a simple method of the wall permittivity estimation by the UWB radar system in the free space. The method is developed and dedicated for a localisation of objects behind a obstacle for example the wall. The paper also describes a influence of the transversal of incident wave and a proper windowing of signals.
