Impacts of Short-Term Generation Rights Transaction on Transmission Loss for Power System

This paper calculate the transmission loss caused by generation right trade and its impact on system based on the DC power flow equation. This method takes into account each power flow state and more accord with the practical situation of generation right trade. By analyzing the mechanism and process of generation right trade, to the unreasonable method that averagely allocate the trading power in trading hours under the daily generation right trade mode, this paper propose a method to fit a trading power allocation curve based on cubic spline interpolation and power system. The curve can be adjusted by trading power and replace the traditional averagely allocate method. Combined with three kinds of allocating situation, the rationality of this paper has been tested on IEEE-13 bus system.
