Abstract

The single gamma-ray spectrum, electron-gamma and gamma-gamma coincidence spectra have been studied in the 182 m Re → 182 W decay with Ge(Li) and NaI(Tl) detectors as well as with a six-gap beta-ray spectrometer. A total of 28 new gamma-ray transitions have been observed and ten new levels introduced. The Iπ K = 2+ 0 level at 1257.5 keV has been confirmed, and another level at 1538 keV with the same quantum characteristics has been established. The rotational band with Kπ = 1+ based on the pp[402↑–404↓] state at 2057,5 keV has been suggested. The character of the decay of the investigated 182mRe (12.7h) isomer indicates that it most probably is the {p 402↑ – 624↑} 2+ state.
