Abstract
- Dielectric measurements were performed in CaTiO3 ceramic samples at frequencies from 10 Hz–1 MHz and at temperatures between 4.2 and 300 K. The dielectric constant increases with decreasing temperature and saturates at low temperatures. According to this behavior, CaTiO3 has been classified as an incipient ferroelectric or a quantum paraelectric similar to SrTiO3, KTaO3 and TiO2.
