Abstract

Fourth, the question of cost for the training programs needs to be addressed. TPD will have to use the same diverse mechanism now used to fund new programs. Namely, use of institutional funds, practice fees, industry support, private agency grants, and state and federal grants that may be available for the support of fellows. It is likely that establishment of formal training programs in CDL1 will enhance the opportunities for obtaining funding from these diverse sources.
