Abstract

The papers that make up these proceedings summarize the major goals and findings from the New Jersey atmospheric deposition study. Included are four papers and a transcript of a round table discussion, including an executive summary. Topics covered in the papers include: Atmospheric deposition of organic contaminants the the Hudson River estuary and coastal New Jersey, atmospheric deposition of mercury to the New York - New Jersey Harbor estuary, atmospheric deposition of trace elements to the New York-New Jersey bight, and atmospheric deposition of nitrogen to coastal ecosystems.
