Abstract

Possibilities of using new electrode materials PEDOT/Pd and PEDOT:PSS/Pd (where PEDOT is poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) and PEDOT:PSS is poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/polystyrene sulfonate) prepared by the chemical deposition of ultradispersed Pd particles into a polymer matrix as sensor materials for the determination of H2O2 are considered. The structure of films is characterized by electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence analysis. The voltammetric responses of PEDOT/Pd and PEDOT:PSS/Pd films in solutions containing H2O2 are studied. The conditions of the voltammetric determination of H2O2 on modified metal–polymer electrodes are optimized.
