Abstract
- Theoretical model is built up to investigate earth-satellite laser communication numerically, where atmosphere affects the communication effect greatly. The distribution of atmosphere refractivity and turbulence are two main aspects in atmosphere's influence on earth-satellite laser links. Simulation based on angular spectrum theory is performed to study laser propagation through atmosphere to outer space, and different distribution of atmosphere refractivity is discussed. Then the astronomical refraction errors introduced by atmosphere refractivity are investigated. At last, the influence of turbulence on laser patterns and propagation angles are discussed.
