Abstract
- The transversal magnetoresistance of the cubic (AuCu3 structure) antiferromagnetic GdIn3 compound has been investigated along the [100] axis within the temperature range 2 to 8 K in magnetic fields up to 17.2 T. Two kinds of experiments have been performed: the angular dependence of the magnetoresistivity at constant external magnetic field for a rotating sample as well as the field dependence of the magnetoresistivity for chosen directions. The magnetoresistivity has been found to be positive and anisotropic. Moreover, oscillations of the magnetoresistivity have been observed at magnetic field above 6 T. The angular dependence of the frequency of the oscillations is given.
