ChemInform Abstract: Design and Synthesis of 3-(2-Ethyl-4-{2- [2-(4-fluorophenyl)-5-methyloxazol-4-yl]ethoxy}phenyl)propanoic Acid: A Novel Triple-Acting PPARα, -γ, and -δ Agonist

The synthetic route to the title compound, involving the formation of the oxazole ring as the key step, starts from 3-oxopentanoic acid methyl ester and 3-hydroxyacetophenone to afford the target compound with an overall yield of 32%.
