Abstract
- This paper conducted a questionnaire survey to investigate the cooperative and competitive personality of 171 primary school students in the robotics course. Results indicated: (1) The cooperative personality of students is significantly higher than that of competition. (2) There is no significant difference in cooperative and competitive personality between boys and girls. (3) The correlation coefficient between students' cooperative personality and their academic achievement in the robotics course failed to reach significance. (4) There is also a very low-level correlation between students' competitive personality and their academic achievement in the robotics course. Accordingly, this paper proposes that teachers can apply the co-opetition design in the robotics course to provide multiple paths for students with different cooperative and competitive personalities.
