Abstract

Global energy interconnection (GEI) is of great significance to realize the worldwide optimal utilization of renewable energy, which is facing numerous challenges. In order to tackle underlying challenges and support decision making, the simulation of GEI evolution process makes sense. A dynamic GEI simulation method is proposed for the prediction of evolution process and the capture of critical challenges. The critical affecting factors of GEI evolution process, such as the international politics and economy, are analyzed. Then, the GEI evolution process is modeled as a differential kinetic equation that consists of the impacts of international politics and economy. Additionally, the improved Euler method is utilized to solve the dynamic model and the GEI evolution process is obtained. Finally, simulation results show the validity and effectiveness of proposed method.
