Abstract
- We propose a novel, highly sensitive, and stable fiber-optic temperature sensing method that utilizes the temperature dependence of the gain of an amplified-spontaneous-emission feedback circuit. It is experimentally demonstrated that the method achieves a long-term temperature resolution of 0.0147 °C.
