Abstract: Kakogawa No. 1 blast furnace has increased its pulverized coal (PC) injection rate from 100 kg/thm, after the enlargement of the PC injection system which was completed in October 1992. And the PC injection rate reached more than 180 kg/thm in October 1993 and this stable operation is being maintained.
