Abstract

This article presents four stage interleaved boost converter using self-lift technique. The proposed converter uses self-lift cells in four stages for high output voltage gain, low input ripples current, high efficiency. The input inductor is connected in series with battery to reduce ripples in the input current and one input parallel capacitor was used to reduce the stress and maintain constant current on battery. Initially the converter work on four PWM signals after that proposed converter work on two PWM signals with 50% duty cycle and 100 kHz frequency. The voltage is boosted in every stage of the interleaved topology to produce high output voltage gain up to 230V from 15V battery. The efficiency of the proposed converter is 96.7 % with 2.3A outputs current.
