Abstract
- Low temperature specific heat and electrical resistivity of isoelectronic CrMo alloys containing up to 36.6 atomic % Mo were measured in order to study spin density wave (SDW) magnetism. Linear specific heat coefficient increases with Mo concentration and goes through a maximum, where SDW vanishes. The relation between linear specific heat coefficient and Neel temperature is discussed in reference to a recent spin fluctuation theory introduced into itinerant antiferromagnetism.
