Abstract: Phenanthroline ligand-supported copper(I) fluoroalkoxide complexes bearing a trifluoroethoxy, a pentafluoropropoxy or a tetrafluoropropoxy substituent are prepared and applied in the scalable synthesis of fluoroalkyl (hetero)aryl ethers.
