Abstract
- The authors describe two cases of tamoxifen-induced organic delusional syndrome that resulted from administration of 40 mg daily for the adjuvant treatment of breast carcinoma. After discontinuation of the tamoxifen therapy, the psychiatric episode resolved within 2 to 4 weeks. Because tamoxifen might cause delusional syndrome, the authors recommend full psychiatric evaluation in appropriate cases. Cancer 1992; 69:1415-1417.
