Abstract
- The enantiomers of a 1,3-dihydrophenylindol-2-one derivative were separated on a Pirkle chiral phase. This phase was unable to separate the enantiomers of a structurally similar 2,3-dihydro-2-oxo-benzofuran derivative, where an oxygen atom replaces the N-CH3 in the hetero-ring. The enantiomers of this compound were instead separated using a Chiralpak OP(+) column.
