Abstract
- Summary Recent advances in computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging technology have resulted in exciting new solutions and possibilities for three-dimensional (3D) imaging. Especially, 3D images derived from medical devices provide advanced information. This article describes the principles and potential applications of 3D shoulder imaging techniques to sports medicine, including kinematic imaging and surgical simulation.
