Small Angle Neutron Scattering Studies of Ionomers in the Bulk State

Ionomers give rise to peaks in small angle scattering experiments. The structures inferred involve clustering of the ionic side groups. SANS has been used to investigate the effect of this structure on the molecular dimensions as well as the behaviour of the observed peak itself especially as a function of added water.
