Abstract

Excess molar enthalpies, , and excess molar volumes, , of binary mixtures containing dimethyl carbonate or diethyl carbonate + anisole or + phenetole have been determined at (298.15 and 313.15) K and at atmospheric pressure. Standard deviations have been calculated from correlation of data by the Redlich−Kister polynomial. The calculated quantities have been qualitatively discussed in terms of thermodynamic interactions between the mixing components. Only a slight influence of temperature on the excess properties has been observed.
