Abstract
- A tangible interaction projection tabletop system is developed for middle school experiments. The system supports both tangible interaction of physical objects, which are printe d by 3D printers, and finger pointing interaction on the tabletop. Object textures, as well as invisible experiments phenomena, which cannot be easily observed in real experiments (e.g. magnetic induction line), are projected by projectors. Compared with completely virtual experiments, the system has natural and tangible experimental operations. Compared with real experiments, the system can enhance the display of objective phenomena which are difficult to be observed in real experiment.
