Abstract: The relationship between kinematic energy flow and the effect of the dynamic absorber on suppression of vibration is studied. Energy flow is shown as vibration intensity. It is clarified by simulation that the effect varies according to where the absorber is attached, even if all positions have the same maximum amplitude of vibration.
