Application of multiuser detection on CDMA-based MANET

Application of multiuser detection(MUD) on CDMA-based mobile ad hoc networks(MANET) is studied in this paper. The principles of MUD algorithm for MANET are addressed first. Following those principles, a new adaptive blind MUD algorithm derived from NLMS algorithm is proposed out. Subsequently, a specially designed MAC protocol aiming at transmitting multiple packets to a destination simultaneously is also proposed for MANET. Under above scheme, we find that the throughput performance of MANET is remarkably promoted, which is shown by simulations. 1
