Abstract
- A clustering based niching particle swarm optimization is constructed in this paper by using a clustering method named “density based” clustering. l-best PSO and a clustering algorithm is processed synchronously in this new algorithm. When the number of particles in a cluster reach the set least particle number of a subswarm, a niching is formed based on this cluster. This algorithm can conquer the disadvantage of NichePSO by forming niching with different size and shape.
