Abstract
- The extinction coefficients of monodispersed spherical particles suspended in water were measured by monochromatic light. PSL particles and silica particles were used as samples, and the particle sizes were O.1-1μm and 1-10μm, respectively. The wavelength was changed from 200 to 1100nm. Good correlation between the measured extinction coefficients and the size parameter assured the accuracy of the measurement
