ChemInform Abstract: Transfer of Chirality in the Rhodium-Catalyzed Intramolecular Formal Hetero-[5 + 2] Cycloaddition of Vinyl Aziridines and Alkynes: Stereoselective Synthesis of Fused Azepine Derivatives

It is demonstrated, that the stereochemical information of vinyl-alkyne substrates containing a chiral aziridine substituent can be transferred to fused dihydroazepine derivatives by a Rh-catalyzed formal [5 + 2] cyclization.
