Abstract: The structures of crystalline (over a wide temperature range) and molten rare-earth metal-LnCl3 (Ln = La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy) trichlorides are comprehensively studied by Raman spectroscopy.
