Abstract

The article discusses several Slavic etymologies, for which clarifications are proposed. These clarifications are made a) due to the stricter application of phonetic correspondences between Slavic languages; b) due to a more complete consideration of the use of the stems in languages, including idiomatic and derived ones, which allows to clarify the semantics of the roots under consideration.
