Operative Specimen Handling and Evaluation of Resection Margins

Specimen grossing is a key step in the pathology examination of pancreatic resection specimens. Specimen dissection with optimal display of pathological changes and extensive tissue sampling are important determinants of the quality of pathology reporting.
