Abstract
- Presented are exact-form expressions for the average error performance of various coherent, differentially coherent, and noncoherent modulation schemes in Nakagami-q (Hoyt) fading channels. The expressions are given in terms of the Lauricella hypergeometric function, FD (n); for nges1, which can be evaluated numerically using its integral or converging series representation. It is shown that the derived expressions reduce to some existing results for Rayleigh fading as special cases
