The effect of correlations on the entropy and hadrochemical composition in heavy ion reactions

Abstract: It is shown that spatial correlations between the constituent particles of a gas lead to roughly excluded volume type corrections in the equation of state. These corrections will appreciably change the hadrochemical composition of fireballs formed in heavy ion reactions.
