Abstract
- This study assessed HbA1c across the lifespan in people with T1D in Austria/Germany, Sweden, and the United States (U.S.) between 2011 and 2017. Data extracted from the DPV, Austria/Germany (n = 25651 in 2011, n = 29442 in 2017); SWEDIABKIDS/NDR, Sweden (n = 44474 in 2011, n = 53690 in 2017); and T1D Exchange, U.S. (n = 16198 in 2011, n= 17087 in 2017) registries were included in the analysis. Mean HbA1c across the lifespan in 2017 and changes in mean HbA1c between 2011 and 2017 overall and by age cohorts were analyzed.
