A description of a new species of the cockroach genus Prosoplecta saussure, 1864 (Dictyoptera, Ectobiidae) from South Vietnam

Abstract: A new species of the genus Prosoplecta Saussure, 1864 (Dictyoptera, Ectobiidae), P. (Areolaria) vietnamensis sp. n., is described from South Vietnam. Areolaria Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1865 is tentatively considered a subgenus of the genus Prosoplecta. A detailed morphological description of the new species is provided.
